That's because we currently have the New Image Galleries enabled in WikiFeatures. I find it helps condense the image galleries since it has the Show More/Fewer thing. The image galleries aren't currently too flooded with images, so I guess it wouldn't hurt to disable it for now.
My name is Unai, and I'm an Anime Wiki Manager. Our team helps wikis across the platform, and I've been assigned to this community. I'm here to provide assist in site management, tools, promotion, counter-vandalism, etc.; as well as serving as a liasion between Staff and the community.
Howdy! I’m Kurt, a content Team Member! We are interested in helping out with prepping for the new season. Is it cool if we brush up some things/add in articles for episodes/etc? Unai and I are happy to work with you, if you will have us! :)
You're both welcome to contribute to wiki and help clean things up. The episode articles are all content complete with maybe some overlooked typos in them. Most of the pages needing content are the stubs which consists mostly of chapter articles, and a lot of character pages which are empty.
You can also speak with Damage3245 and see if they need help with anything.
Quick question- for the new episodes for the season to come out, if they have not yet been created, do you prefer them to be numbered 1-12 or 13-24? I personally prefer 1-12, but it varies per wiki.It might boost discoverability to be 1-12.
I've considered doing that but never did since there are a lot of chapters that would fall into arcs with no official names and then I'd have to come up with something.
There's also the problem of deciding what chapters go into what arc and how arcs are separated. For example, would Chapter 113 be considered part of the end Tsuzura Tournament arc or beginning of the new arc? Would chapters 35 & 36 be their own arc even though they're only two chapters or be part of the Rowdy Shirou-kun arc?
If you have an idea of how to categorize and name the arcs then go ahead.
Well, it's not a priority but it might be something to work on after more content is added to the pages.
I'm currently in the process of updating the character pages for another wiki by going through the series chapter by chapter, and once I'm done with that this weekend I plan on starting the same kind of thing for Tsugumomo; updating each character page as I go by chapter.
Hello there. Big fan of the series, and a fellow administrator of several wiki's.
I've noticed that the Tsugumomo wiki could use several features which I've seen on several other wiki's and that you are currently the only administrator for the site. Are you looking for more assistance in keeping the wiki updated?
By Status Symbols, I assume you mean the small images like gender icons other wikis place in the info box. Naviboxes are something I never had time to get around to. You shouldn't need to be an admin to add these features but I'll make you admin anyways since it'll help having another admin keeping the place updated and engage with other users.
No features in particular that I can think of right now. I'd like to prioritize getting an active editor base and filling in the missing content first. More users would probably provide a better idea of what features should be added. Feel free to add any features you think are needed. You don't have go overboard with it since there's no point in adding a bunch of features if there's no one to use them.
The second season is coming out soon, so I'd like to try and retain an active editor base with the new influx of interest this time around. Any features or ideas to help with that would be welcomed.
There's a box for affiliates on the front page but the only one there is for the Yozakura Quartet wiki which I also mod. I'm not sure how effective the affiliate system is at actually gaining traffic but feel free to contact any wikis you think would be interested. Affiliates should be anime/manga, preferably with similar themes or some kind of connection to Tsugumomo.
I'll try drafting up a new volume listing template using inspiration from a few other wiki's.
I've created the first Navibox, one for Locations. I'll make similarly styled naviboxes for the different groups & organizations of the series and add them in so that ideally every character page should have a navibox.
As for Affiliates, I could affiliate the wiki with the wiki's for UQ Holder!, My Hero Academia, Edens Zero, Chainsaw Man, and One Punch Man.
I'm not sure about ideas for getting an active editor base, but enabling Achievements for the wiki might help do that. I've always found that to be a source of encouragement for users.
I've put in a request for Achivements to be enabled here.
And I've added us as affiliates to most of the wiki's I mentioned up above. I'll add their images / links to our list of affiliates in turn.
I'm adding in some templates for a referencing system to the wiki since there doesn't appear to be one currently. After that I'll probably be doing a massive reread of the series to start adding in references on each page.
The Affiliate template I've set up automatically takes the wordmark from the specified wiki so there's no need to upload the images here, and you don't have to worry about updating them if the other wikis change their wordmark. It works similarly to the animanga footer at the bottom of the front page.
Currently the only pages that already use a lot of citations are Ouhi Oriobana and Masuji Madarai. They use the default ref<> thing at the moment, but if you want you could quickly update those to the new referencing system you set up, without having to reread the whole series.
I used MediBangPaintPro, a free PhotoShop-like software. There are probably better alternative programs, I just found it the most convenient.
The english "Tsugumomo" text is ripped directly from the English version of the anime key art. The Japanese text is ripped directly from the volume covers, just rearranged horizontally. The two little swirly things are also from the anime logo.
By the way, would it be fine to remove the Chapter Number line from the Chapters Infobox? I think stating which number the chapter is, is a bit redundant, since every chapter page is prefaced with that information anyway.
